Canvas's New Quizzes offers many benefits for remote exams, including an easy-to-use quiz building tool. New Quizzes will be available in all Penn courses starting in Summer 2022, but it is currently available by request by emailing canvas@pobox.upenn.edu.

New Quizzes is currently being developed by Canvas and may eventually replace the existing quiz tool. The following content only applies to the current tool and will be retired once the New Quiz tool becomes a core part of Canvas functionality.
